“Being granted access to an artist like Tracy through the magic of zoom has felt like such a gift in and of itself. As an amateur, recreational singer, I’m regularly struck by the breadth and depth of vocal knowledge and training she brings to the table for my lessons. She both meets me where I am and invites me to grow. I can’t say enough about what an encouraging and affirming space she’s created.”
"I started working with Tracy just over a year ago and my voice and self-confidence have grown by leaps and bounds in that time. In our lessons (entirely virtual), Tracy has helped me overhaul my technique to prioritize efficiency of breath, beauty of tone, and legato. She has also radically expanded what I thought myself capable of in terms of repertoire. With her guidance, my voice has really blossomed and I have become a more capable musician both in the practice room and on stage. In lessons, Tracy is always affirming but also detail-oriented and challenges me to make my sound freer, more focused, and brilliant. I am so grateful to have Tracy on my team. Whatever your singing goals, I can't recommend joining her studio highly enough."
“I went into my lesson with Tracy with the usual anxiety I have before entering into a teacher student interaction, which is a result of past experiences wherein I felt powerless as a singer, artist and person.
Tracy shed light on so much of what I have been missing in my vocal education. It was both healing and so exciting to hear her encouragement to listen to my body, to let it be easier than I have been making it. It is truly a gift to work with someone who reminds you of the joy and beauty to be uncovered in this process.”
“I'm so thankful to have been introduced to Tracy! Her teaching style is grounded in an abundance of technical knowledge and infused with love. I grew up with people making fun of my voice and being really self-conscious. Tracy is so wonderful at making sure I feel safe and supported when singing.”
“Tracy brings her world class ears, love of the craft and her singular ability to translate information to each session - working with her students regardless of repertoire or previous technical background. Lessons with her are a gift. Students leave with a better understanding of their instruments, and more importantly - tools that they can take with them as they continue their work. Creating a safe and supporting space for joyful experimentation, Tracy guides singers along the way - helping them get OUT of their own way.”
